On the 23rd of October 2018 Jonas Bens presented parts of the research findings of Project B04 in the colloquium of the Department of Anthropology and African Studies at the Johannes Gutenberg Universität Mainz.

In his presentation called "Wer ist das Publikum von Transitional Justice? Affektive Atmosphären und das Problem der Mehrfachadressierung in Verfahren des Internationalen Strafgerichtshofs in Den Haag und Norduganda", he argued that actors in political criminal trials, as, for example, before the International Criminal Court in The Hague, have to address multiple audiences whose ideas of just/unjust, true/false, legitimate/illegitimate can vary greatly. According to Jonas Bens, this problem of multiple audiences translates to the microlevels of Transitional Justice formats and structures events and their atmospheres to a great extent.
