Silvia Biasetton (she/her) is a PhD student in the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Education, and Applied Psychology at the University of Padua, Italy. She holds a double Master’s degree in Sociology and Social Research from the University of Trento, Italy, and in Cultural Studies from Masaryk University, Czech Republic. Her research interests include gender and sexuality studies, cultural sociology, and affect studies. Her current PhD project investigates how sexuality is framed as a category of justice within anti-gender discourse in Italy. She focuses particularly on the role of affects and emotions in the production of anti-gender discourse, its performativity in public events, and its influence on the formation of collective identity and the mobilization of bodies.
