Annemarie Samuels (Leiden University) presented her new ERC project “Globalizing Palliative Care?” (https://globalizingpalliativecare.com) in the CRC-working group “Affective and Emotional Dynamics of Care”. Following an invitation by Edda Willamowski, Anita von Poser and Max Müller, she elaborated on the relationship between affects and end-of-life-care in a direct exchange. Master students of Anita von Poser’s course on “Aging and Affects in Migration” at the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology, FU Berlin, were also present and took the opportunity to actively engage in the discussion.
