In this short paper, I would like to draw attention to some broader issues within the study of collective emotions and social movements that Kalm and Meeuwisse address and suggest possibilities for further development and exploration. In particular, I address two main issues: how to theorise collective emotions and how to include the body in the study of emotions in social movements.
