Guests are the two social and cultural anthropologists Sandra Calkins and Cornelia Ertl from the research project A07 entitled "Pflanzen berühren", who conduct research in the Botanical Garden and Museum. In conversation, Margreth Lünenborg and Birgitt Röttger-Rössler and their guests approach the special atmosphere of one of the largest botanical gardens in Germany and provide insights into the ambivalent feelings that visitors and employees experience when encountering rare and special plants in the face of dwindling biodiversity.
