Hass/Literatur
May 24-26, 2018, the international conference "Hass/Literatur" (Hate/Literature) took place at FU Berlin. Invited by Jürgen Brokoff, head of project at C04, and Robert Walter-Jochum, literary scholars, sociologists, philosphers and anthopologists came together to dispurte the relation between hate and (literary) texts.

The 2nd International Conference of the CRC 1171 "Affective Societies" questions normative conceptions of contemporary public spheres and proposes to conceive of them as often fragmented spaces of affective resonance that emerge from the power of language to affect and to ascribe and instill collective emotion.
