Organized by Berlin-based anthropologists, the Berlin Anthropology Seminars is an inclusive platform which seeks to create a regular forum for the free exchange and discussion on current research conducted by Berlin-based Anthropologists.

For the Winter Semester 20/21, project A06 Contested Property was represented by Jonas Bens and Paola Ivanov. Jonas Bens presented on December 11 the sixth chapter "The Sentiment of Justice: Navigating Normative Pluralism in Northern Uganda", of his upcoming book The Sentimental Court: The Affective Life of International Criminal Justice (Cambridge University Press, 2022). On January 13, Paola Ivanov launched and discussed her new book Die Verkörperung der Welt: Ästhetik, Raum und Gesellschaft im islamischen Sansibar (Reimer, 2020).
