During their field research in the frame of project A06 Contested Property, Jonas Bens and Laibor Kalanga Moko jointly lectured the course “Introduction to Culture and Society” at the University of Dodoma from April until July 2022.

This course provided the students with an understanding of culture and society as key concepts to comprehend the human world. Students received an introduction to sociological and anthropological approaches, the theories to analyse culture and society, and the methods through which knowledge about culture and society is produced.
