On August 2, 2021, the A06 project team conducted the workshop “Anthropology of Cultural Heritage” at Freie Universität Berlin, which featured invited contributions by Andrea Scholz (Special Curator of the Collaboration with Indigenous Communities, Ethnologisches Museum Berlin) and Philipp Schorch (Professor of Museum Anthropology, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München).

In this workshop, a small group of eleven participants, the team members, outside guests as well as interested members of the CRC “Affective Societies” discussed selected readings from the anthropology of heritage in relation to the ethnographic collections from colonial contexts.
