kontaminiert.werden: research in the ruins of purity
The student research project "kontaminiert.werden", deals with these and other questions in an interdisciplinary and cross-university way and tries to open up new approaches to the more-than-human city of Berlin by means of experimental workshops.
In the context of this, the participants attended a workshop organized by Cornelia Ertl at the Botanical Garden Berlin on 09.12.22. Based on text discussion, self-reflection and an explorative walk, the participants dealt with conceptions of nature/culture and the agency of plants. These reflections were complemented with insights into Cornelia Ertl's research on everyday encounters between gardeners and plants in the Botanical Garden Berlin and the resulting affective dynamics and knowledge practices.
