As part of the Annual Conference of the CRC 1171 “Diversity Affects – Troubling Institutions” the project B02 joins the program with a roundtable discussion on 29^th of May, 2021, 10.30 AM – 12.00 PM. After a summarizing Introduction about Journalism as an Affective Institution and the challenges diversity poses to it by Margreth Lünenborg, Débora Medeiros moderates the discussion between Sheila Mysorekar (Neue deutsche Medienmacher:innen), Iva Krtalić Muiesan (Westdeutscher Rundfunk), Alexandra Borchardt (University of Oxford) and Nour Khelifi (journalist, author and script writer). The discussion will shed light on questions around why and how newsrooms need to address diversity.
