Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine
As we continue to hear and read about war rapidly unraveling in Ukraine, efforts to assist a civilian population experiencing its effects have grown stronger and more organized. Many of us have been sharing our thoughts, and donating our time or resources to help people in need. We felt that it is the right moment to organize something together as CRC, and beginning this week, we will be starting a donation drive.

We will be collecting donations of humanitarian aid to assist civilians in Ukraine and refugees from Ukraine in Berlin, and we have organized three locations to make it easier for you to drop off your donation.
We will be sending a collection to Ukraine through the Pilecki Institut. We have spoken to volunteers there, and they have confirmed that medical supplies, baby products, hygiene products, and protein-rich non-perishables, are needed on a rolling basis. These can be dropped off both at the CRC department at any time. The list of most requested supplies can be found here: https://bit.ly/3sI4hgb
We are also organizing a daily collection of goods for new arrivals at Hauptbahnhof. Ana will be volunteering on site, where she will deliver the donations she receives. We are asking for perishables, hygiene products, and any other relevant supplies. The list of supplies can be found here: https://bit.ly/3pDP91x
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to write to one of us. Let’s unite and help those whom we can reach get through these trying times.
