In this public talk, Hannah Proctor, author of the widely read Burnout: The Emotional Experience of Political Defeat, will reflect on how her thinking and research have evolved since the publication of Burnout. She will discuss interpersonal antagonisms within political groups and the growing interest in the psychosocial dimensions of political struggle. Berlin-based Iranian abolitionist feminist Sanaz Azimipour will comment on the talk and briefly reflect on affect in political organising in Berlin’s local and transnational contexts.
